I was invited to take part in the annual derga, a religious gathering of the turkish community of Bektashi/Alevi members taking place in a former Hotel.
Situated on the slope of a hill overlooking a vast mountainous area in the west part of Germany, the choice of this place to be the social and religious centre of the community represents the philosophical and religious believes of their members.
