Struggling between genetics, transgender and ritual to create these figures this project for me contains more than artistic value. Furthermore it’s a personal therapy to overcome certain family values and dogmas.
Eighteen of the Original Medium Format Slides were cut to exchange face parts after I simulated the process digitally, and finally arranged in pairs to be screened using overhead projectors.
